Cheesy Pork Sausage Marinara

  • Italian pork sausage mix

  • bell pepper (thinly sliced)

  • ciabatta bread

  • marinara sauce
    15 oz
  • olive oil
  • oven-ready tray

    Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash and dry produce. Halve, core, and thinly slice bell pepper into strips. Halve ciabatta bread .

    In oven-ready tray , combine Italian pork sausage mix , bell pepper, and marinara sauce (for 4 servings, evenly divide ingredients between two trays). Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt . Bake on top rack (be sure your oven has preheated!) until bell pepper has softened and sausage is cooked through, ⏱️ 30-33 minutes . (For 4, bake two trays side by side on top rack.)

    When sausage bake has ⏱️ 5 minutes left, toast ciabatta. Spread cut sides with half the pesto ; halve on a diagonal.

    Once sausage is cooked through, evenly top sausage bake with Italian cheese blend . Return to top rack and bake until cheese melts, ⏱️ 30-60 seconds . Top sausage bake with as much remaining pesto as you like. Serve family style with pesto toast on the side. Ground Meat is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
